The business incubator

Emergence is an efficient economic development tool created by the Caen Town Council to:
- Generate calm, confident conditions for business creation
- Accompany and guide new business projects
- Encourage exchange and synergy among creators
- Facilitate business acclimatisation within the economic environment
- Prepare creators for leaving the incubator

The incubator extends a priority welcome to:

- Young businesses (less than a year old),
- working in the high technology, engineering and business services sectors,
- with an innovative project (technology, new service...) likely to generate added value for the region's economy.

It provides business creators with:

Premises (offices and small workshops) and time-shared office automation and services at affordable rates designed to facilitate new business development.
At the head of the incubator, a consultant specialised in business strategy and finance is available to accompany creators during the critical phases of their development.
